Many of us are guilty of gathering an extraordinary number of toiletries over time and most of them are kept in our bathrooms some of them alongside the bath or in the shower cubicle making the room look untidy. With some thought storage in your bathroom can be increased so that the appearance is one of order and organisation.

To start to solve your bathroom storage problem take a look around to see whether there are any spaces that can be utilised, for instance the area under the wash basin can be used by installing a cupboard with shelving giving you space to store toiletries such as soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Under the bath has space that could be accessed by installing a small door in the bath panel so this would be a good place to store spare toilet rolls.

Installing a full height cupboard is a good idea so that towels and face cloths can be stored on shelving and other bathroom items can be stored below. Even a narrow cupboard gives a surprising amount of storage space.

Shelving with baskets on can be a good storage solution in a bathroom if you are struggling for space, although the contents of the baskets need to be arranged neatly.
