With winter firmly set in, why not spend some time giving your bathroom a makeover so on those cold dark nights, you have a cosy little place to retreat to and relax in a lovely hot bath. IF you have an on suite bathroom then you should try and tie in the colour schemes to get it to match with your bedroom. You may not be able to use the exact same design, especially if you have used wallpaper etc but you can use the same colour ways. The chances are the door between the bedroom and the bathroom may often be left open and to give it that design feel, it is nice if the two rooms flow seamlessly in to one another. Doing this can also make the room look bigger as long as you steer clear of really dark colours. If you want your paint work in your bathroom to have a fantastic finish on it then you could do an over coat of lacquer which will give it that added glamour.
If you have a smaller bathroom then you may think that built in suites are the way to go but sometimes this may not always be the case. Having a footed bath can allow you to create more floor space and also add ambient lighting around it to give it that chic feel.
