Having a new kitchen fitted can cost in excess of £1000 and often something that many of us simply cannot afford. You may decide to get a kitchen on finance allowing you to spread the costs over a monthly basis. This can work well for some people but if your monthly budget is already very tight, adding additional financial commitments may not be a wise thing to do.
There has been a lot of buzz recently on social media sites about kitchen revamps that have cost less than £100 and totally transformed a room. Places such as B and Q and Wilkinson sell an adhesive paper that can be applied to work tops. This covers the entire worktop totally changing the appearance of it. A roll of approximately two meters costs around five to six pounds. You need to check carefully that the covering you buy is heat resistant and also tough enough to withstand a few scraps and scratches. You will need to ensue however that you use a chopping board when cutting on it.
The cupboards were also revamps using a multi surface paint that is usually about fifteen to twenty pounds per tin. Fitting new handles on to the cupboard are a relatively easy change that can give the newly painted cupboards the finishing touches.
