A bathroom is not just a functional place, it is also a place you can relax and unwind or refresh and get ready for the day ahead. Many of us like to take showers or baths not just to get clean but also to have a bit of down time where we can just gather our thoughts.

It is important that you find your bathroom comfortable and relaxing and this can be achieved in a number of ways. One thing that can make a huge difference to your bathroom is the flooring. Now you may be tempted to put carpet in your bathroom for added comfort and to take away the cold hard floor, but this is often not very practical at all and as the carpet gets wet, it will start to smell damp and eventually go mouldy. Instead how about installing some underheated tiles that add a touch of class whilst giving off a lovely warming feeling, perfect for when you step out of the bath. Under floor heating can be set to come on with your radiators or you may be able to turn it on and off independently. It really can make a huge difference to the comfort of your bathroom.
