Expert help and advice when buying a toilet

You may think that you do not have to put much consideration in to choosing a toilet as surely they are all pretty much the same right? Wrong! Toilets can not only vary in cost and colour but also in water consumption, flushing ratings and how easy it is to clean, all of which may be important to you. You may also want to consider the height of the toilet as elderly people may prefer something a little higher, children will find a lower toilet easier to use.

You need to decide what is important to you and what your budget is. If you want a toilet that is as eco friendly as possible then you will want to look for one that uses the minimum amount of water when flushed but still cleans the bowl sufficiently.

Historically, low flush toilets were a nightmare and although they used less water, they didn’t empty the bowl as they should and therefore you needed to flush them twice, which defeated the object.

Luckily they have improved vastly over the last few years and now low flush toilets work as they should whilst still saving water.
