If you are looking to buy your first house or move to a new house then you need to decide whether to buy a new build or an older property. There are many advantages and disadvantages of buying a new build but one of the main reason people do is that they tend to think they will have less issues. Most new builds will come with some sort of warranty so if something goes wrong within a set time it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Lots of homeowners are finding that they are having issues with their new build as it perhaps hasn’t been built using good quality materials of the workmanship was not up to scratch so problems have started to arise. Sometimes buying a new build does not stop problems from occurring it may mean though you don’t have to pay for them to be fixed but you still have the inconvenience.

One of the main down sides with a new build are the sizes of the room and the garden. As they are trying to build homes with at least three bedrooms and fit many on one plot, garden and plot sizes are reduced. This means that you do tend to get less space for your money than you would if you were buying an ex council house for example.
