Today there is a growing trend of deep bathtubs. There are many freestanding bathtubs on the market that are extremely deep, and it can be quite a luxurious change if you have been used to the same basic panelled bathtub for years.
Some deep bathtubs are taller than they are wide, and they can actually save a large amount of space. With a higher water level, you’re less likely to get a nasty chill, yet they can be dangerous for children and pets, so it’s probably best that it remains an adults only bathtub in family home.
Deep bathtubs will use more water, but they do afford a luxury feel. Some people will argue that the deeper the bathtub is, the better it is, and if you’re somebody who’s always want to be below the water level, there are options out there, no matter how tall you are.
