Choosing a new bathroom suite can seem a little overwhelming. There is such a wide range of products on offer from the bath and sink to the tap fittings that it can all seem a little confusing in to which ones will be best suited to you. A bathroom needs to be functional, there is no point in having a bathroom that looks amazing but is just not convenient, and for example you have no space to store your towels or toiletries.

Firstly you need to decide if you want a contemporary bathroom or a more traditional one. Cotemporary bathrooms are often based on the Edwardian or Victorian style. These bathrooms can look amazing but are often quite expensive and make require special fittings for old pipework etc. Cotemporary designs are usually the most popular and have the widest range in terms of sizes and colour. If you are designing a bathroom or cloakroom in a small area then you may wish to go for this design as it is usually more flexible and can be fitted in to a smaller space.

You will need to decide what budget you have to spend on your bathroom as it is very easy to get carried away with beautifully designed taps or sinks without considering how much the overall cost will be.
